In depth

Verdict

With Godolphin's runners in such good form at present Desert Chill has to be respected and she is taken to build on a promising debut effort at Leicester and take this, getting the verdict ahead of Miracle Seeker and Cruel Sea. The last mentioned looks the pick of the newcomers and, with Barry Hills normally having a good record at this meeting, she has to be of interest. Similar comments apply to John Gosden's runners and his representative La Troupe is bred to be useful so a market move for her would be of interest. James Fanshawe's Flam needs to improve on her debut effort to take a hand, while a market move for the Michael Jarvis-trained Red Dune would be of interest. Michael Bell's African Flight is another worthy of a mention although of more interest may be Miracle Seeker who only found one too good first time out. Desert Chill has solid claims though and she is preferred.
