River Falcon has been running consistently well of late, has a decent draw and is taken to gain a deserved success, getting the vote ahead of Mutamared and Commando Scott. The last mentioned disappointed last time but has solid claims on earlier form but may just be a shade high in the weights. Gift Horse has slipped to a fair mark and a market move for him would be of interest, while Barney McGrew has more to do than when successful at Lingfield last time. Howard Johnson's Tombi is less exposed than most of these but a 7lb rise for his latest success at Ripon leaves him with more to do. Fantasy Believer traditionally does well at this time of year and has to be respected but needs to improve on recent form and of more interest may be Kevin Ryan's Mutamared who was not beaten far in a better race than this at The Curragh last time. River Falcon has been running well without winning of late though and he is taken to gain a deserved success.
