Verdict

State Legend was only fifth in his hat-trick bid at Nottingham and Wholeofthemoon makes more appeal on his handicap debut having finished a long way in front of Wolsey when only beaten half-a-length by Aldous Huxley at Kempton. LEVITATE is preferred, however, after a pipe-opener at Pontefract as he’s bred for this longer trip. Polyphonic’s placed efforts this year have come in small fields but he doesn’t look badly treated having a first run in a handicap.
