Trousers, Parnassian, Hills of Gold and Topton look the four to concentrate on in the finale with the vote going to Hills of Gold. The selection ran well in a similar contest to this at York last time when third behind Blonde Streak. He had some decent types behind him in that race and the ground that day was probably not ideal so on this faster surface he should go well, especially as he has also got winning form on this track. Trousers rates the main danger and he raced a bit too keenly at Nottingham last time when third behind Little Englander. This race is slightly more difficult but if he settles better than he did at Nottingham then he could run a big race. Paranassian won well at Haydock last time when defeating Rymer's Rascal, but that was not the strongest of races and he will have to improve again to take this. Topton is more than capable of making his presence felt in this company but he will need some luck in running and he looks to have plenty on to win at these weights. This is a tricky race for punters to call but Hills of Gold ran as though his turn would not be far away at York last time and he is put forward as the one they all have to beat.
