DANCING STAR was desperately unlucky in this grade at Goodwood six weeks ago as she was twice hampered in the closing stages and was only beaten a neck. Granted better luck in-running here. Andrew Balding’s five-year-old could gain compensation but the three-year-old Anna Nerium rates a big danger, despite her penalty. Seventh in the 1000 Guineas, she won a Group 3 at Goodwood last month and enjoys some give in the ground. Dan's Dream was back to form last time at Tipperary but has a bit to find on the form book. Laugh Aloud probably needed her reappearance at Sandown and was a progressive filly last year, though she’s raced exclusively over a mile so far. Ellthea won a nursery at this meeting last year and this represents a drop in class so she shouldn’t be ignored and makes more appeal than surprise Pontefract Listed winner Castle Hill Cassie.
