Verdict

Dream Magic comes here in top form having scored a comfortable victory at Sandown (Free Option fifth and held) last time out. The form has been given a boost as the third won here earlier in the week and Mick Ryan's charge, who holds a favourable draw, may be able to defy a subsequent 3lb rise. Far Lane has been knocking on the door in similar company of late and looks sure to go close once again but faces no easy task against more experienced rivals on these terms while Ring Of Destiny is 7lb higher having landed a 12f Ripon handicap last time and looks worth opposing particularly back over this shorter trip. Moving Experience looked unlucky when denied a clear run behind Bandler Ching but is not certain to reverse the placings as the winner appeared to prevail with something in hand. The lightly raced Saltrio is an interesting contender having shown progressive form last term but is perhaps best watched on his belated return.
