      Verdict

      A competitive finale, despite the small field. Spanish Archer only beat Al Muffrih a neck at Ripon so there should be nothing between the pair on today’s terms. Away He Goes was getting closer prior to running in a Group 3 at Deauville last month and Toronto came up against an improver when second over this trip at Haydock but MANKAYAN is a tough-as-teak handicapper who can improve again to defy another 3lb rise.
