Verdict

Half of this eight-strong field were winners last time but LONE EAGLE is the one taken to complete the double. Just beaten on debut at Sandown, he had to work hard to land the odds at Goodwood next time but there should be more to come as he gains experience. Last week’s Kempton winner Dingle is closely matched on the form book, however, and Lingfield winners Patient Dream still have scope. Mark of The Man might appreciate this first try over a mile but Legend Of Dubai still looks the pick of the remainder.
