        Verdict

        Kodicil has been climbing the weights, despite not winning, but continues to run well and should gain a share of the prize money again at the very least. However, Simon Walker is usually the jockey to follow in races like this and he has excellent prospects of another victory on board GREEN TO GOLD. Don Cantillon's versatile grey has won over hurdles and fences as well as on the level and did nothing wrong when second over an inadequate trip at Yarmouth last time. Maska Pony had Shirls Son Sam and Jeu De Roseau behind when second at Newcastle last month and went one better at Redcar. He also enters the equation while Raleigh Quay could threaten the places if in the mood.
