Verdict

John Gosden has picked up the last two renewals and Feel Like Dancing should make a bold bid for the hat-trick. He found only hot favourite Leading Light too good in the Queen's Vase over 2m at Ascot last time and should confirm running with both Boite and Ray Ward. The latter pair were not that far behind at Ascot but Dashing Star was well beaten and Havana Beat has so far failed to figure in a couple of starts at this level. Jathabah is hard to fancy and the two with the most to prove are arguably the most progressive. Testudo beat a subsequent winner to land a maiden at Sandown in a more impressive fashion than the narrow winning-margin would suggest. But he had earlier finished behind runner-up DARE TO ACHIEVE at Newbury in a race won by Remote, who went on to success at Royal Ascot. Willie Haggas' colt has won his maiden at Pontefract since and gets the vote in the opener.
