It is impossible to ignore the claims of Flying Valentino here and Alan Swinbank's filly can complete her hat-trick at the main expense of Luck Will Come. Flying Valentino followed up a Carlisle win at this trip with a resounding success on good ground at Pontefract last time. Fast ground suits, and she is a filly bang in form and looks very hard to oppose. Luck Will Come has a fair bit to find with the selection on the clock. She also won at Pontefract last time out in a time slower than that of the selection, carrying less weight and on quicker ground, so she'll have to improve. Sir Michael Stoute is represented by Lambda who is respected after a good effort at Salisbury last time. However, that form has not worked out particularly well, and so she is taken on. Summer Gold does not give the impression that this trip is ideal although the ground suits her, while Oat Cuisine has her optimum trip and ground and is 5lb higher than her most recent win so she can go well. Slip Star has plenty to find at these weights and we are happy to side with Flying Valentino.
