Dusky Warbler appreciated testing conditions when stepping up on previous form to land a conditions event over this trip at Leicester late last month and is the TEAMtalk choice to follow up. Michael Bell's charge was unfancied at the Midlands venue but there appeared no fluke about the performance and he has nothing to fear from Mesmeric who was beaten just under three lengths and is just 1lb better off. Ovambo is officially best in at the weights and will handle the ground but has not been easy to train and looks worth opposing on this occasion while Border Arrow has conditions to suit but was most disappointing on his return from a break when well held in the St Simon Stakes at Newbury last month. Red Carnation is a confirmed mudlover and ran well when second of 18 in handicap company last time but has a little to find with the selection on these terms.
