No retired jockeys are being allowed to ride in this year’s renewal but this established 0-70 classified stakes has still attracted a bumper entry. It could be argued that Frankie Dettori has already achieved legendary status and the veteran Italian has a decent chance on Roca Magica, back over her best trip after staying-on into fourth over 7f at Yarmouth. She finally won on Turf earlier this year but stall one may not be ideal. Late Arrival was only beaten a short-head at Yarmouth 10 days ago but still seeks a first victory. Flying Dragon’s win ratio needs improving but he just came up short at Salisbury last week and is entitled to be thereabouts again. CATCH MY BREATH won’t mind the ground and stays further so the likely fast pace will be to his benefit.
