Verdict
Connections of LATEST GENERATION will have been delighted with his run at Sandown. He found only a couple of more-experienced rivals too strong and would have finished closer had he had a trouble-free passage. The Frankel colt has plenty of fancy entries. Side Shot also has the benefit of experience and is surely better than he showed when favourite at Yarmouth. Frankie rides him rather than Dajraan. Richard Hannon saddles Reverend Hubert and Torture and Jim Crowley prefers Mohaafeth, another Frankel colt and out of a dam that won a Listed race, to Moktasaab but both of Hamdan Al Maktoum’s newcomers could be nice prospects. Royal Champion is a half-brother to useful middle-distance winner Outbox and is another worth noting.
