The Sagaro Stakes winner for the last two years, Mizzou would've come into the race on the back of a creditable second in the Ascot Gold Cup were it not for an abscess issue with forced his late withdrawal. He beat Clever Cookie in this year's Sagaro and was ahead of both Sheikhzayedroad and Burmese in the Gold Cup. Luca Cumani's charge looked the one to beat on that form but in his absence, last year's runner-up CLONDAW WARRIOR gets the vote. He ran really well for second at Arlington last month in the American St Leger and can improve again to land this weakened contest. Quest For More was back to his best when landing the Lonsdale Cup at York, with both Clever Cookie and Curbyourenthusiasm behind, and he can figure with a similar effort but winning handicappers St Michel and Sweet Selection look up against it in this company.
