Dandy Man's recent walk in the park at Leicester may have boosted his confidence, however the more solid option might be STRIKE THE DEAL for whom the drop back to five furlongs will suit. Jeremy Noseda's son of Van Nistelrooy has plenty of speed and is likely to be up with the pace from the off. His recent run behind Palace Moon at Newmarket looks solid form and his consistent efforts in some competitive sprints this season can be rewarded with a fourth career win. A return to a flatter track looks likely to suit Spin Cycle whose stable are in better nick, Moorhouse Lad has the class and this is his time of year (third in the race last year) so expect better, whilst Inexile and Hoh Hoh Hoh are two consistent sprinters who should give supporters a good run for their money. Captain Gerrard is one of several in the race who were slightly outclassed in the Nunthorpe earlier in the season however this is more his level, as it is for Dandy Man. The well-related Siren's Gift, along with City Dancer and Above Limits, are all likely to find this a bit hot and so we are happy to stick with Strike The Deal as the winner.
