Angel's Pursuit is rated better than his run at Kempton on Saturday, however a more progressive rival is BOND FASTRAC and Geoff Oldroyd's colt gets the nod. A ready winner at Redcar in July, the selection then stepped up on that effort with a short-head second to Yurituni at York. Underestimated so far in the betting, the feeling is that he is up to this class of racing and a big run is expected. Angel's Pursuit is out again quickly after a flop at the weekend but his rating of 101 flatters him enormously. Stablemate Footstepsofspring wins awards for his consistency but the likelihood is that he will find one too good once again, Colonel Mak is a nice sprinter who rates better than a Ripon run last time out where he looked all at sea with the undulations, whilst Loveinthesand has been given a break since his York run and it would be foolish to dismiss him too readily with improvement expected. Roodle's run behind Lady Of The Desert in an Ascot Group Three has been franked and she shouldn't mind the return to six furlongs, whilst Transvaal Sky did it so readily at Lingfield last time out that one suspects she may be hard to beat if improving once again. Not an easy race to dissect, but it is Bond Fastrac who may prove to be good value.
