Mubtaker is as game as they come and can make a quick winning reappearance; possibly with the most to fear from Brahminty Kite, who has to be respected as he receives a stone at the weights. Compton Bolter still shows enthusiasm in his races and is respected, while Persian Majesty has scope for improvement but has been hard to place this season. He looks a risky proposition at this level. The fragile but talented Asian Heights also offers limited appeal from a betting perspective, as he has raced only four times since October 2002. His connections must be thinking about what might have been had he not endured so many setbacks. However, sentiment aside, it would be a terrific training effort from Geoff Wragg if he could turn back the clock and show something like his best. Brahminty Kite is a likely pace-setter and will be dangerous to underestimate. However, he has never encountered as resilient a performer as Mubtaker, whose class alone is fancied to see him through this latest challenge.
