MEY BLOSSOM is on a roll and can complete her hat-trick at the main expense of Tamarind Hill and Frognal. The last-named continues to attract market support before his races but his hold-up style of racing leaves him in the mercy of the gods especially over this trip. Mey Blossom is a more straight-forward option and Richard Whitaker's in-form mare has two recent Thirsk wins to her name. She seems to relish a straight sprint and should take plenty of beating under her 6lb penalty. Cape Royal is a course and distance winner and comes here in typically consistent form, Mythical Blue is nicely-handicapped now, whilst Nomoreblondes is a speedy front-runner who seems on good terms at present. Sands Crooner has four lengths to find with Mey Blossom, so a bigger threat could be Tamarind Hill who showed lots of resolution to win at Pontefract and this improving three-year-old is not discounted under just a 2lb rise in the weights. A competitive finale where the nomination goes to Mey Blossom.
