The consistent Bowstring can have the measure of I Had A Dream, Glen Innes and Autumn Wealth in this fillies' only contest. John Gosden is always a trainer to fear at this meeting and in Bowstring he has just the sort give him a Listed success. She has run a number of good races in defeat this term, including when third behind Echoes In Eternity in the Group 2 Park Hill Stakes here in September. That was no disgrace against a stronger, older opponent, and although she subsequently disappointed at Yarmouth against Modesta whom she had behind on Town Moor, it looks as though she just failed to stay again. The drop back in trip here could turn out to be a smart decision by connections and she can gain a deserved win at this level. I Had A Dream lost no caste in defeat when second to Sundrop at Newmarket last time and will be a danger, while Glen Innes was pulled up at Longchamp on her last outing. Autumn Wealth is in form but has much more to than when scoring at Bath, but the others mentioned will provide Bowstring with a stern test. Hopefully though she will be up to the task.
