Danawai can open his account at the expense of Ocean Sunrise, with Pleasing and Makfly two more to note. The market may throw up a potential springer here, but on the evidence so far, Danawai has leading claims. Richard Hannon's youngster has filled the runner's up berth on each of his last two starts, at Windsor and Newmarket. On that latest outing he found only the favourite Queen's Best too good, and must surely go one better before too long. His main rival appears to be Ocean Sunrise, a close third to Enrichetta at Redcar on only her second start. She should appreciate the easier conditions today and makes most appeal of the opposition. Newcomer Pleasing is a daughter of Dr Fong and is probably best watched on her debut, but it would be no surprise if she went close, given her trainer's abundance of talent. Makfly caught the eye when fourth on his York introduction and may go well at a big price, but Danawi has solid claims and should be hard to beat.
