The nursery can go to London Express ahead of Collateral Damage, Ordnance Row and Razed, with Rainbows Guest worth a glance lower down the weights. Mark Johnston has a strong hand here, with London Express preferred of his duo. The son of King Charlemagne ran as green as grass when opening his account at Ripon, and shaped even better when beaten only a half a length by the more experienced Gramm in a hot Newmarket nursery last month. He should not be inconvenienced by the drop back to seven furlongs, as stamina will be needed to last out here, and he can prove too good for the rest. Collateral Damage quickened well in the soft ground when scoring at Newcastle last time, but the third home that day, Rebellion, failed to progress when beaten at Nottingham on Wednesday. Ordnance Row finished clear of the third horse when beaten in a photo over the course and distance last time but has plenty of weight for his nursery bow, while Razed has a bit more on his plate than when scoring on fast ground at Newcastle. Rainbows Guest has a handy weight and should find an opportunity if kept on the go on the all-weather over the winter, but the one to be on here is London Express.
