Jack O 'Lantern looks harshly-treated on a mark of 75 on his handicap bow so preference instead is for the proven ROBENS ROCK ahead of the unexposed Cabal. Mark Johnston's gelding was eased down at Beverley last time out when sauntering home by almost three lengths. That was his first run in handicap grade at this sort of trip and with similar conditions this afternoon he could prove hard to beat. George Benjamin is a solid yardstick to measure the race by but he isn't one for win purposes, Cabal has let down supporters twice this year and needs to find improvement for this quicker ground (not a definite from her pedigree), whilst Another Magic Man is not ignored now dropping in trip. Al Dafa tries a visor despite winning at Nottingham last month, Durham Town will find this harder than the Kempton victory in February, whilst Dazakhee, Lord Raglan and Wedding Dream all come here in good form, although the latter won an easy race at Carlisle when gifted the lead last time. An open heat then, but preference is for Robens Rock.
