Queen’s Trust needed every yard of the 1m2f at Santa Anita to snatch victory from LADY ELI in last year’s renewal. This shorter distance could see a reversal of that form and Chad Brown’s popular mare has looked as good as ever so far this year winning her last three outings. Both of the selection’s stable companions, Dacita and Grand Jete, were beaten by War Flag in the Flower Bowl at Belmont last time while Cambodia beat Avenge here before the latter won a Grade 1 at Santa Anita. Senga won the French Oaks in June but was a long way behind Rhododendron at Chantilly last time though Wuheida finished less than a length behind Aidan O’Brien’s filly back in fourth. Roger Varian’s Nezwaah won the Group 1 Pretty Polly at the Curragh during the summer but has not been at her best in a couple of subsequent starts.
