No three-year-old has won this race before but the progressive UNIQUE BELLA bids to change that statistic. Jerry Hollendorfer’s filly has won all four starts by a convincing margin in Graded company at Santa Anita this year and there should be more to come as she was returning from a lay-off when beating Princess Karen over three lengths last month. Finest City won this last year and arrives fresh from a break while By The Moon landed a Grade 1 at Saratoga last time and has beaten both of Chad Brown’s representatives, Carina Mia and Paulassilverlining, already this year. Finely’sluckycharm arrives in good form and could go well but Skye Diamond may prove a bigger threat having won both previous starts here including a defeat of Constellation back in August.
