Verdict
ESPOIR D'ALLEN won a bumper in France in April and made an impressive hurdling debut for Gavin Cromwell at Punchestown, where he cruised home from Masterstonemason. He can remain unbeaten despite his penalty. Foxy Lass landed a Ballinrobe maiden before failing to cope with Masterstonemason at Gowran but has since run poorly on the Flat. She had Apparition behind at Gowran but Joseph O'Brien's charge showed the benefit when defying mistakes to get up right on the line to catch Mitchouka at Thurles. The latter was entered at the early stage but his trainer relies on the newcomer Kuraka, who showed some potential in minor company for Karl Burke.
