Gigginstown Stud have half of the eight entries though not the likely market leader, OUR DUKE. Jessica Harrington's Irish National winner landed a Grade 1 novices' event over this trip at Leopardstown in December, then was beaten over shorter on a return visit before his Fairyhouse big-race success. Stamina is his strongpoint and he can take this, though the rapidly improving Road To Respect also has a Grade 1 to his credit having taken the Ryanair at Fairyhouse in April from the odds-on Yorkhill. That was over 2m4f but he showed he has no stamina problems when scoring over 3m1f at Punchestown last month and has a fitness advantage. More Of That had every chance when unseating his rider at the last in the Irish Gold Cup won by Sizing John then ran respectably behind that winner in the Cheltenham showpiece before pulling up in the Grand National. Sub Lieutenant beat Outlander comfortably at this meeting a year ago though that was over 2m4f and he's never proved he stays this far. The remaining trio are all very capable performers at this level and it wouldn't be a shock to see a big run from any of them.
