Franklin Street had no problems with soft ground when landing a Listowel nursery though that was over a mile and he has a big weight here. Johan Zoffani was always close up and stayed on strongly at Naas and normal improvement should see him in the firing line. Champers Elysees twice showed very good pace on testing ground over 7f before a close sixth in a lucrative Sales race here a fortnight ago and it will be a surprise if she can't get into contention with this weight though she may just have to give best to BRUNELLE. Ger Lyons' filly made a successful debut at Leopardstown before a fair run in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes here last month. Xian Express and Ivy Avenue were both beaten favourites last time when better was expected of them.
