In depth

Verdict

This has been a bonanza for Ballydoyle who have won 16 of the last 21 including the last seven though this looks a sub-standard renewal. The stable have three entries with INNISFREE probably the main hope after battling back to beat Shekhem in a Galway maiden. The winner will undoubtedly be suited by the longer trip and can confirm the form but the stable's Cormorant was put in his place by another Ballydoyle inmate in Mogul in a Group 2 at Leopardstown. Royal County Down was also behind in that latter race and would be a surprise winner but Camorra was well supported when scoring on soft ground at Killarney.
