In depth

Verdict

A New Dawn has been flying high since landing a Naas maiden and will appreciate the drop in class. Know It All scored over the course and distance on soft ground and didn't get the best of runs in the Group 2 Debutante Stakes. Deidra won what looked to be a well above average maiden at Naas in good style though the one to take from the race is LOVE LOCKET (NAP). A E52,000 foal, she went for E700,000 at Goffs Yearling Sale and made an eye-catching debut. Her stable have won this four times in the last seven renewals and can continue the sequence. Dermot Weld has two entries with the maiden Tasalka possibly having the edge over Galway winner Shehreen after being beaten a nose by subsequent Listed winner Blissful at Tipperary.
