Verdict

Bowerman goes from strength-to-strength and could hardly have been more impressive in the Irish Lincoln. He takes on better company here but looks certain to go well. Ancient Spirit has taken a long time to find his form since arriving from Germany. He switched from Jim Bolger to Jessica Harrington and just caught Buckhurst on the line at Navan for which he's penalised. The former's yard is represented by the veteran Flight Risk, who started favourite for this a year ago but finished sixth. Three times a winner last year, he can't be dismissed but Georgeville may find this on the short side on his comeback. Joseph O'Brien has two entries with RAISE YOU looking a fine acquisition from Ian Balding. He escapes a penalty for a Listed victory at Newmarket last May and this looks an ideal start.
