Verdict

Joseph O'Brien saddles three of the five entries with BUCKHURST (NAP) probably the pick. A dual Group 3 winner over the track and trip, he was beaten just a nose over a trip too short on his reappearance at Navan and will take some beating. The 2018 Irish Derby hero Latrobe needs further than this nowadays while Numerian, who finished in front of him in the Group 2 Moorsbridge Stakes here, has run his best races on ground with plenty of give. It was very testing when he beat Sir Dragonet almost 3 lengths in a Listed race at Naas in March but the latter improved to finish runner-up in the Listed Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot. Trais Fluors, six-times a winner for Andre Fabre, was only just over a length behind the selection at Navan and further rain would enhance his claims.
