Verdict

Another tough test for punters but GIPSY COUNTESS can give supporters a good run. Jim Bolger's filly has had only three starts in her life and showed how far she had progressed when making all over 1m4f at Tipperary last week. She makes her handicap debut at the right end of the scale and won't be inconvenienced by the drop in trip. Humor Me Rene is another improving three-year-old who followed her 7f success at Tipperary by completing a double over 1m4f at Roscommon. She's up 8lbs here but her young rider can claim 7lbs which will be a big help. Dawn To Dance stepped up to this trip for her maiden success at Roscommon where she won impressively and can make further progress while Danny Mullins brought the tough Salazaar with a tremendous late run to score over the trip at Sligo and the combination must be considered. La Mere Germaine looked ready to win again soon when a close fourth behind Premier Rouge on ground with some give and her debut success last September was gained on good going.
