There are five raiders from Yorkshire yards here including a pair from Richard Fahey. George Bowen could prove best of the quintet after last month's easy victory at Nottingham though this can stay at home via TITHONUS. Denis Hogan's charge is up 4lb for landing a similar-grade handicap over the minimum here last month but the extra furlong is no problem and he's still well enough treated to gain victory number eight. Celebration looks a danger as he was only a length behind in that letter event and was going on strongly at the finish. Nigel Tinkler's Normandy Barriere can go well after a good run in the Wokingham while Master Speaker is Listed class at his best though doesn't win often enough.
