Weekend Offender was caught up in the stalls when joint-favourite at Hamilton last time and immediately pulled-up. He won over track and trip last season while ABE LINCOLN was narrowly beaten in last year’s Britannia at Ascot and had his first start since when six lengths behind the winner in this year’s Royal Hunt Cup. He’ll be sharper for that and can go close. Firnas is unexposed and drops back in distance having won over 1m2f in the past while Constantino can go well for Richard Fahey having beaten Qaffaal and One Word More when scoring at Newcastle. The latter’s stablemate Just Hiss scored over course and distance a fortnight ago while the progressive Chiefofchiefs is upped in class after winning at Kempton.
