A cracking contest with Bradsell taken on again by Persian Force and Blackbeard, second and fourth behind the Watson colt in the Coventry at Royal Ascot. Persian Force has since landed the Group 2 July Stakes and Blackbeard has been a comfortable winner of the Robert Papin in Chantilly. Shartash proved a short head too good for Blackbeard here in June in the Group 2 Railway Stakes but Ryan Moore has chosen to ride LITTLE BIG BEAR, who really appreciated the step up to an extended 6f when a very decisive winner of the Anglesey Stakes here last month - he looks ready to graduate to Group 1 level. Apache Outlaw, a close-up third behind Shartash and Blackbeard in the Railway Stakes, can't be ruled out either.
