In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien unveils appealing newcomers in the Frankel colt Boy Scout, partnered by Ryan Moore, and Salt Lake City, by Galileo. The pedigrees tell their own story and the market may indicate stable confidence about the pair. Ger Lyons also introduces an interesting newcomer in Shot Of Love but experience still counts for plenty at this stage of the season in maiden company and AL RIFFA has plenty to build on. Joseph O'Brien's colt made a debut full of promise here when coming from well off the pace to hunt up the potentially high-class Hans Andersen and can go one better with improvement expected. Fleetfoot delivered a promising debut at Leopardstown and also commands respect.
