Verdict

NUVOLARI hasn't hit the target since making a winning juvenile debut at Epsom but has been contesting competitive handicaps. He's come down a few pounds this term and the softening of the Haydock ground could prove beneficial as he ran really well at Goodwood on his only encounter with similar conditions. Delorean is hard to assess as both runs this season have been on the all-weather and his sole outing as a juvenile was on the heavy at Newbury. However, he's open to plenty of progress after just three starts so rates a key player. Recent Bath scorer Let's Fly Again probably needs to improve further but Forward Flight will handle conditions and has every chance if forgiven his latest effort.
