In depth

Verdict

A few of these have questions to answer. Flatley seems better on the all-weather and the consistent Verreaux Eagle has found it hard to win off his current rating, though is nudged down a couple of pounds now so should be in the mix. Newton Jack has only beaten one rival in his last two starts and first-time blinkers go on Dark Swansong, who hasn't been at his best this term. Liangel Hope is consistent and has a first run for a new yard after leaving David O'Meara but Star Zinc has a first start since mid-May after being gelded. ABOVE IT ALL is preferred as he's more likely than most to run his race being a course and distance winner who arrives off the back of a good effort at Newbury.
