A tricky maiden but the market should help to indicate various stable expectations. The likes of Cairo, Eye Of Envy and Yuzu make most appeal on paper of the newcomers. Of those with experience, Desert Haven showed more last time when under five lengths behind Hans Andersen here but may prove more of a nursery type. Mount Ruapehu was an improver on his third start but was still beaten a long way whereas Wave Machine has managed a couple of highly respectable efforts in maiden company here and at Leopardstown and should be in the shake-up again. However, BEAUTY CRESCENT is a narrow preference after a couple of promising runs in the spring. He's had a gelding operation with first-time blinkers applied.
