Last year's winner was a 7/1 chance, the shortest-priced winner in ten years. Falcao is likely to attract support after returning to fast ground with a victory at Cork though he's been hit hard by the assessor. Dark Alliance is back on the same mark as when scoring over track and trip last summer while the consistent Penny Pepper has a chance though she might find the fast ground against her. MY GOOD BROTHER is handed a speculative vote in the hope that he retains his ability. He was once rated 104 and has been dropped to 75 but showed up quite well on his reappearance at Tipperary and could rewards each-way support at a big price. Hatton Cross ended the last campaign in very good shape while Sors won here last month though that was over 5f on soft ground.
