Verdict

Although there are a few promising types here who should win in their turn, it is the hurdling debut of BELLSHILL that has been eagerly awaited. Runner up in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree, he went one better in the championship event at the Punchestown Festival and the pair who followed him home, Disko and Modus, have been impressive over hurdles. Hurry Henry easily landed a bumper on this track and was nowhere near his best in a Grade 2 over timber subsequently while Nine Stiches showed definite potential behind Okotoks here a fortnight ago. Inch Rise has progressed with every run though may do better over further.
