Willie Mullins has a cracking record in this and BLEU ET ROUGE could be another for the yard. Twice narrowly beaten on the level in the French Provinces, he is bred for jumping and can make a successful start. St Stephens Green landed a Kilbeggan bumper in good style before a promising start over timber behind the long odds on Tycoon Prince at Punchestown. He will be difficult to beat on that form and the selection will need to be smart. Madfuninthewest was unlucky to fall two out at Gowran in February as he was in touch at the time and his later runs have been confidence boosters in bumpers. Wrap Star never won in a dozen Flat starts but should make a hurdler judged on a decent run at Fairyhouse.
