In depth

Verdict

MONTAGNARD can take this if able to build on his two runs in decent bumpers at Punchestown and Tipperary. His second to The Real Article on his latest start was a particularly good effort and there is nothing in this line-up with comparable form. Sultans Of Swing was staying on under pressure over 2m at Tramore and will appreciate today's trip while Lord Liscreagh was having his first run in a bumper when a decent sixth in a big field here in May. The biggest threat however may emerge from Three Monkeys, who showed nothing in two starts last year but has joined Willie Mullins and is certain to attract support.
