Eagle's Pass has plenty of experience and produced his best run of the year on good ground at the Punchestown Festival when an excellent third to Jigalo in a Grade C handicap. Beau Michael is in good heart and won a chase at Limerick two months ago when last seen. He's consistent at this level and looks sure to go well but Green Mile is better over further as is Bootlegger, whose two course victories in May were gained over 2m4f and 3m. GREY SOLDIER also scored over a longer trip last time but he's equally at home over the minimum and this French flat winner is really beginning to look a nice prospect over timber. Valain is not out of the reckoning in a race that should produce plenty of future winners.
