Hard Bought won this last year under Ambrose McCurtin and, though having only raced twice subsequently, trainer John Joe Walsh is taking the same path and a follow-up isn't out of the question despite a 7lb rise in the weights. Jamie Codd rode Marmaladeskies to victory between the flags in May and his mount makes a quick reappearance after a reasonable run at Wexford on Saturday while Mikey O'Connor's presence on Mountain Lough will ensure his mount gets a good ride and he's better handicapped over hurdles than fences. Duty Dance hasn't run since April and his only victory came over a longer trip on very testing ground while Rock On Brian has shown signs of temperament, though he'd be a threat on his best behaviour. Rachel Blackmore is very good value for her claim and was on board when DIAMOND DAME ran at Punchestown last time. Her mount has been racing on ground too quick so with further progress likely she's taken to gain her first success since scoring at Wolverhampton for Sir Michael Stoute in 2012.
