Verdict
There looks to be an awful lot of dead wood in this opener but Claude Carter goes well here and was second to Brave Spartacus over track and trip earlier this month. He's only 2lb higher while Amir Pasha also arrives in decent form having finished runner-up over 2m4f here last month. GOLDEN JUBILEE (NAP) has had a profitable campaign on the Flat this summer and was only beaten a nose back over hurdles at Ludlow in a better race than this. Left on the same mark, he should go one better here. De Chissler had just hit the front when falling here in August and looks the pick of the remainder.
