Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Bothar Dubh has been in fine form over hurdles, beaten a neck at Navan before a comfortable victory on this track. He can go well on his chasing bow while Daliyan made an encouraging start over fences on very testing ground at Limerick last weekend and further rain would enhance his claims. Cairnhill was beaten when brought down when tackling 2m4f on his chasing debut here last month but should do better over this shorter trip while Littlestickarubarb followed a promising debut over the bigger obstacles at Tramore with a fair effort when reverting to hurdles at Limerick. COMMANDANT has had problems jumping hurdles and wouldn't want the ground to ease but he's looked capable of better and a chance is taken that fences will bring out the best in him. Sunset Sadie has won twice over hurdles around here and makes her chasing debut.
