Michele Strogoff has been competing at a higher level but was beaten a long way when last seen at Chelmsford and isn’t one to rely on and the same could be said of Dream Walker, who was last seen in a Group 3 at Haydock. Alpha Tauri is consistent but has done all his winning at Southwell, Favourite Treat doesn’t look very well treated on these terms and Dubai's Secret has shown nothing since moving to the David Brown yard. In a typically tricky contest, preference is for AL KHAN. Kevin Ryan’s eight-year-old is a specialist at this distance and at least has some winning form at claiming level. Strong Steps might prove more effective dropped in trip and has each-way claims from his inside draw, though only ran on Wednesday.
