Verdict

TROPICAL BLUE gets the tentative vote to break his maiden tag ahead of Spirit of Dubai and Gulf of Aqaba. The selection has more experience than most with six runs under his belt. He has finished second on three of those occasions and is sure to go one better in the near future. He has run well over various trips and different going conditions and with luck in running he is sure to go close to winning once again. Spirit Of Dubai was thought good enough to run in a Listed raced last time out. She was not discredited in finishing fourth of nine behind the well thought of Midday. Now dropped back into this grade she has to be respected and monitored closely in the betting market. Gulf of Aqaba comes from the all conquering Mark Johnston stable. He ran very green on his debut at Haydock and is sure to benefit for the experience, however others are preferred and Tropical Blue gets the vote.
